2023 臺灣生物、農業與文化多樣性暑期國際課程報名開始!!(2023 Biodiversity, Agriculture and Culture of Taiwan Summer Course

 

簡介:
  臺灣所在之位置橫跨亞熱帶與熱帶,且位居板塊銜接地帶,故其面積雖小卻高山林立,地勢起伏之垂直高度差約達4,000公尺,造就臺灣豐富的森林生態;而臺灣因四面環海所擁有的各種海岸地形與環境,亦孕育出臺灣多采多姿的海洋生態系。除了令人謂之驚嘆的森林及海洋生態系之外,臺灣亦擁有豐富的河口、溪流、湖 泊、沼澤以及農田生態系,孕育出各式各樣的生態與物種,臺灣實為一生物多樣性極為豐富的寶島。
  為拓展國際化視野,生物資源暨農學院將於2023年暑期開設Biodiversity, Agriculture, and Culture of Taiwan Summer Course,提供有限名額給對此議題感興趣之本校及姐妹校(如伊利諾大學、普渡大學、康乃爾大學、京都大學、東京大學、筑波大學、新加坡國立大學、英屬哥倫比亞大學、首爾國立大學及東國大學等世界頂尖大學)學生,進行為期28天之全英語課程以及學術交流活動。除教室講習課程,此計畫亦包括實地走訪臺灣之國家公園、文化生態園區、下田實作體驗、手工DIY,及研究計畫執行。
  申請者因全程皆與國際學生共同學習,故需具備相當之英語溝通表達能力。本暑期課程自前年開始進行,成果豐碩,參加之同學均表現優異,不僅於專業知識有所提升,更成功地建立國民外交與達到文化交流之目的。並提供4個暑期課程學分,歡迎有興趣的同學踴躍報名參加。

1. 申請資格:
本校對於生物多樣性、農業、及文化領域有濃厚興趣之在學大學部及碩士班學生。

4. 課程費用與報名截止日期
新台幣30,000元整(截止日期為2023331日)。
費用包括學術旅行與活動之住宿費(臺北地區以外住宿)、3/5膳費、臺北市區外之交通費、團體旅遊平安險等。

8. 面試與繳費:
預計於報名截止日後一週內通知並敲定面試時間。
**經錄取後之獲選生須於收到通知後的兩週內至國農中心繳交活動費用。延遲繳交報名費用者恕不受理,其名額由備取生遞補。

BACT

˙Screening result and notification of acceptance: before April 7, 2023

˙BACT program fee covers course materials, program T-shirt and bag, all the accommodation, a fixed amount of electricity/water fee, three fifths of meals, transportation in Taiwan.

˙LRWI program fee covers room fee and lab materials. Students are responsible for their own living expenses, including meals and transportation.

˙All participants are responsible for: their own transportation from the airport to the NTU dorm. When participating in the program in Taipei, every two students of the same gender will share the same room with their own single bed. However, every two students of the same gender have to share the same bed (4 people and 2 beds in general) when staying outside of Taipei for about 2 weeks, particularly for BACT participants.

˙Assessment on each application is always required before the applicants get accepted.
