After Lifelong Contribution to Taiwan Agriculture, Professor Chen Hsi-Huang Passed Away

Dr. Chen (1935-2020) contributed to Taiwan Agriculture Economics throughout his lifetime. He served as the dean of the Department of Agricultural Economics of National Taiwan University and the chairman of the Council of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan. During his tenure as the chairman of the Council of Agriculture, he focused on enhancing agricultural competitiveness, enhancing the value of agricultural products, strengthening the training of agricultural talents, and building a new countryside with both humanities, industry, leisure, and ecology.
