動科系榮獲教育部太陽能光電設置特色獎

 

    源自於動物科學技術學系前系主任丁詩同的突發奇想,剛好搭上2017年教育部鼓勵各級院校裝置太陽能發電設備的政策,得以將發想付諸實行,成就了動科系榮獲教育部太陽能光電設置特色獎!

動科系太陽能發電設備榮獲教育部「太陽能光電設置特色獎」。

 

    動科系於屋頂裝設太陽能光電,主要是為了解決每到夏日即像在烤爐的系館頂樓降溫問題,多年來,不僅師生苦不堪言,系上也因此需支應大筆的空調電費。2019年5月工程完工後,於接踵而來的夏天高溫,馬上明顯感受到教學館舍因為有了高達210公分高的棚架發電板遮蔭,樓層不再是嚴重發燙永遠無法降溫的水泥箱子,研究室的師生也都有感於空調系統的運轉順暢。不僅無形中增加太陽能發電製造綠色能源,也更有效地產生遮蔭抗熱降溫的結果,達到夏季節省冷氣降溫的電費支出。可謂善用綠電節省電費的最佳代言人!

    動科系擁有悠久歷史,或許並非最前衛之科系,但是藉由太陽能發電的創舉,絕對是全校節能省碳的先驅領航者。

    學系感言:有幸在2017年趕上教育部第一波統整辦理各級院校太陽能發電的措施,才得以將理想付諸實行。除感謝前主任親自參與此工程規劃執行,並給予正面鼓勵及支持外,亦感謝校方總務處的支持及營繕組設施維護股的最大支援。工程結束後,首要明顯降低屋頂直接與陽光照射的面積,相對起來也降低室內溫度,節省空調的耗電,發揮節能措施的最重大成效。太陽能發電的招租,不僅由教育部與校方代為簽約,減少許多專業的繁瑣,同時依照合約內容保障未來房舍20年防水保固,更透過廠商與政府綠電買賣過程中發電之後的實質回饋金而開源,實為一舉數得。

Department of Animal Science and Technology won the Ministry of Education's Solar Photovoltaic Installation Feature Award

The Department of Animal Science and Technology won the Solar Photovoltaic Installation Feature Award of Ministry of Education! Derived from the whim of Shih-Torng Ding, former dean of the Department of Animal Science and Technology, the victory coincided with the 2017 Ministry of Education's policy to encourage institutions at all levels to install solar power generation equipment.

The Department of Animal Science and Technology has installed solar photovoltaics on the roof, mainly to solve the problem of cooling down the top floor of the department building that is like an oven every summer. For many years, not only the teachers and students suffered, but also the department had to pay a significant electricity bill for air conditioning. After completion of the project in May 2019, in the ensuing summer heat, it was immediately obvious that the building was shaded by the 210 cm high scaffolding power panels, and the floor was no longer severely hot. Teachers and students in the research room also felt that the air-conditioning system is running smoothly. Not only will it increase solar power generation to produce green energy, but also it will produce more effective shading, heat resistance, and cooling, which can save electricity costs in the summer. It can be described as the best spokesperson for making good use of green electricity to save electricity bills!
