生傳系王驥懋副教授受美國印地安那大學東亞研究中心及地理系邀請講學，並發表二場專題演講
生傳系王驥懋副教授於2023/10/19-2023/10/20號，分別受美國印地安那大學地理學系及東亞研究中心邀請學術演講，並拜訪國立臺灣大學國際處駐印地安那大學辦事處。在地理系所舉辦的演講，由當前美國地理學會會長Rebecca Lave教授主持，並發表國際合作研究成果：行星鄉村地理學(Planetary Rural Geographies)。此概念旨在探索人類世下，鄉村空間的變遷。而在東亞研究中心所進行的專題演講，則以臺灣海峽抽砂對於漁村海岸治理的影響為研究主題，概念化跨邊界的自然資源的挖取對當代領域(territory)的理解。

Chi-Mao Wang (Associate Professor, Department of Bio-Industry Communication and Development) was invited to be a guest speaker at the Department of Geography/East Asian Studies Center, Indiana University.
Chi-Mao Wang, an Associate Professor in the Department of Bio-Industry Communication and Development, was extended an invitation to serve as a guest speaker at Indiana University's Department of Geography and East Asian Studies Center. On October 19, 2023, he delivered a presentation on "Planetary Rural Geographies," an international collaborative research endeavor between the UK and Taiwan. This initiative challenges the prevailing narrative of "Planetary Urbanization," which posits that rural areas are gradually subsumed by urbanization. Subsequently, on October 20, 2023, Professor Wang addressed the East Asian Studies Center, delving into the contentious issues surrounding sand dredging in the Taiwan Strait.
