英國人文社會科學院院士Michael Woods率領英國鄉村研究學者至生物產業傳播學系進行跨國學術研究
英國人文社會科學院院士，英國Aberystwyth University大學的Michael Woods教授，於2023/1/8-1/13號率領英國研究團隊至生物產業傳播暨發展學系進行跨國比較研究。該研究受到臺灣國科會以及英國經濟暨社會研究部的共同支持，英方以Michael Woods教授為總主持人，臺灣方面則是生傳系王驥懋助理教授為總主持人、陳玉華副教授為共同主持人，本計畫以建立跨國鄉村比較研究理論為主要目標。英方除了Michael Woods教授之外，還包含了當前國際重要的鄉村研究學者如Ruth McAreavey (Newcastle University), Menelaos Gkartzios (Newcastle University), Keith Halfacree (Swansea University), Damian Maye (University of Gloucestershire), Dr Kin Wing Chan (University of Exeter), Hannah Budge (Newcastle University)等人。他們目前都分別擔任重要國際鄉村研究學術期刊的主編、副主編。

Professor Michael Woods (Fellow of Academy of Social Sciences, UK) visited Department of Bio-Industry Communication and Development
Professor Michael Woods (Aberystwyth University, Fellow of Academy of Social Sciences, UK), Professor Ruth McAreavey (Newcastle University), Professor Menelaos Gkartzios (Newcastle University), Professor Keith Halfacree (Swansea University), Professor Damian Maye (University of Gloucestershire), Dr Kin Wing Chan (University of Exeter), and Hannah Budge (Newcastle University) visited the Department of Bio-Industry Communication and Development, conducting UK-Taiwan Networking Research Project. This network brings together rural social scientists from Taiwan and the UK to explore the prospect of developing a ‘transnational theory’.
